{Challenging Rules}
On other sites I've been on, Challenging has only been based on RP skill and word usage. Ours is on pure luck, math and activity. This is too keep things fair for others during battle, as I know it is a stressful time.
If you need help with the math equation, please message a staff member and they will do it as soon as possible.
Rules
-Total of 4 battle posts and 1 intro post per character
-The alpha has 3 days to respond with their intro post. If they don't, they forfeit their position.
-All posts MUST be completed in one seating. You may NOT edit your post unless the judge tells you too.
-To go against the word of the judge is automatic forfeit. They have a hard enough job already.
-Only Dark Pack leaders, Lead Guard and High Alchemist may be challenged and battles within the Resistance to determine the strongest. The King and the Darkness may NOT be challenged.
-Maximum of one attack and one dodge per post. This is to keep you happy and not do so many math equations ;3
Challenge Layout
The thread must be placed within the appropriate board (The land in which they are challenging for) with {Challenge} Within the title. If the thread is improperly marked, and the alpha does not post within 3 day, it will be the challenger who forfeits.
The first post will be the challenger warning the Leader that they are challenging. You must post your attack, defense, speed, hp, magic and experience stats at the bottom of your intro post. Only these stats will be used in the math equation.
The second post will be the leader's response. You must post your attack, defense, speed, hp magic and experience stats at the bottom of your intro post. Only these stats will be used in the math equation.
The third post is when the battle MUST! commence. This will be the 1st out of 4 allowed posts for the challenger. They will post a response with ONLY the attack rate on it at the bottom of their post. The attack rate is a button up above.
It will look like this;;
[attack=641862173633442]
This will be used within the math equation explained below. (Every battle post after the intro post MUST have this at the bottom of their response)
In each post there can only be one attack. Use it, because you can't just use it in another post. One attack, and that is it.
You have 2 semi dodges and 1 full dodge. Stats for both are below.
At the end of the battle, the one with the most lost HP loses the battle. This will be added up by the judge on a calculator and screenied to prove who won and who didn't win.
The Math
I know I know. math. Ugh. Well this is easy math you learn in grade 6 plus you have a handy dandy calculator at your disposal.
.(attack Rate) x (opponent Attack) + (Opponent speed) / (Your defense) + (Your speed) = __(damage)___ x.10 = __(Damage)__
/1.(experience/magic) = __(damage)__ x (severity) = __(Damage)__ / (dodge) + __(Total Damage)__
HP - Total damage = Left over HP
Now, Risa, what does this mean? Well, I'm glad you asked.
Basically, this is the math equation you will be using. Don't be worried, it's very easy! And when you punch it in a few times, you get a knack for it.
All math equations MUST be posted at the TOP of your response, to show you have done it. It's not the hard. And round up after the decimal. It's not that hard. If you have 2.1531224 you will have the number 2.2!
Every stat will come ONLY from the intro post stats.
.(attack Rate) is the attack rate you will post after each of your attacks. It can be any number, it is random and solely on luck.
x(opponent attack) is the attack rate of your opponent, the person who posted the attack rate at the BOTTOM of their post. You will get this stat from your opponents INTRO post, where they have posted their list of stats. (Since stats changes each post, this is fair so that it doesn't keep rising throughout the battle)
+(opponent speed) is their speed. Same as attack.
/(your defense) is your defense, same as attack but from YOUR stats you posted at the bottom of your intro post.
+(Your speed) is your speed stat.
Then you hit equals. Round this number to the nearest decimal (aka, 32.4223 will be 33.4)
_(Damage)_ x.10 Take the number you just got (in this case, 33.4) and times it by .10. This will give us 3.34.
/1.(experience) This is your experience stat. SKIP IF YOU HAVE NO EXPERIENCE OR MAGIC!
Hit equals, use this number in the next step in the damage spot.
_(damage)_ x (severity) Severity is the stats listed below. It depends on where the wound hits and how severe it is.
Hit equals, use this number in the next step in the damage spot.
_damage)_ / (dodge) If you manage to FULL dodge this, you do NOT have to do /any/ math because NO hit landed. If you Semi dodge, divide it by 2. If you don't dodge, skip this step.
Hit equals, use this is you total damage.
HP - Total Damage. Take your intro stat HP and minus the total damage from it. This is how much HP you have left for the battle.
Post your response under this math equation (must be posted at the top of your response)
Then add an [attack=814319589869483] at the bottom.
I'll post an example later <3
Severity Ratios
You either put 1, 2, 3 or 4 into the severity part of the equation
{1}
-Minor Wounds
Cuts that aren't too deep
Bruises
Sprains
Ripped Ears
{2}
-Medium Wounds
Attacks to the belly
Attack to the eyes that cause semi blindness
Broken ribs.
{3}
-Major Wounds
Slashes arteries
Broken legs, back
Attack to the eyes that cause blindness
{4}
Damaged Trachea or throat
slashed underbelly
